School Parliament Visit
This week, our School Parliament members went to visit Verwood Town Council and meet the Mayor, Cllr Simon Gibson and the Town Clerk Carrie Lloyd.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their visit and had the opportunity to ask lots of questions as well as trying on the Mayor's robes! The children were presented with a challenge where the Town Council offered to donate either trees, books or litter pickers to the school. This required the children to debate each option and then cast their vote. The unanimous decision was litter pickers. A huge thank you to the Town Council for this donation and hosting our School Parliament!
